"The Biber" is the first episode of the series "Our wild Luxembourg" - An initiative of the Environment Department of the Ministry of Sustainability.
Biber is an important indicator of biodiversity and helps create habitat for many animals and plants that are exposed to wetlands.
It was erected in the 19th century in Luxembourg. But, since 2009, it has been home to us, and it is still found in small numbers along various rivers, mainly in the Ascension and the west of the country, especially in nature areas. There, one can find more and more often-knit eights and, with a little attention, their known ones.
