Director Justine Triet's debut feature tackles timely domestic issues like child care, babysitting, visiting rights of an ex-husband, among others, amidst a backdrop of an emotionally-charged political scenario, that of a presidential election. Some viewers may have a hard time connecting these two entirely different themes but for career women juggling family life and work this will surely ring a bell. Surprised to learn that the scenes wherein Laeititia was seen interviewing people on the streets, gathered in crowds, was real live footage, it was shot on the actual date of May 6, 2012, when Francois Hollande won the elections.Commendable performances by the cast led by Laetitia Dasch and Vincent Macaigne, who won two awards for this film. Nominated for the Cesar Award for best feature film, this is definitely a must-see!
