Fluent in its beauty, FEVER is a testament to the power of production design in film. The film explores the intersection of fleeting control and a welcome disruption in male form. In retrospect, much of FEVER plays like a series of memories, an epilogue to a film, rather than a finished film in and of itself. It seems to hint at continuation, if not in the form of a another film, than certainly by the photographic endeavours of its director, Jiwoon Oh. FEVER is a captivating experimental short, and certainly boasts a promising career for Jiwoon and her particularly take on visually satisfying, subversive horror.
