Unbelievable touching film about a family dealing with difficulties when the mother has Alzheimer’s. The story is also told in a funny sometimes very funny way especially during the first 70% of runtime. It gets more emotional towards the end with one of the most moving endings in a very long time for me. The two main actors Ryu Iwamatsu and Harue Agaki are outstanding in this jewel of Japanese cinema. Highly recommended!
